Size of the risk one should take

Only 1500 rupees!

That was my monthly revenue 15 years ago.

Today, the monthly payroll volume of my venture is 15 million rupees.

Back in those days, I wasn’t willing to risk even 100 rupees on my bicycle’s maintenance, which was my only means of earning because that could hurt my budget.

Today, I am willing to invest everything I have — a calculated risk indeed.

Why? I’m confident that it will grow exponentially.

The mind of the 15-year old boy was paralyzed with fear — too scared to risk even a single dime. But today, I’m a 30-year old grown man, having seen major ups and downs in my life.

It’s never about how much you can lose when you take the risk — 100 rupees on a bicycle or millions on a venture — it’s always about how much you believe in yourself for taking the risk.

PS: For those curious about what I was doing at the age of 15, I used to distribute newspapers to homes after collecting from the vendor. I used to start my day at 3am and complete it by 7am because people like to read the papers with their morning tea :-)
